Liam Murphy is currently a UI/Gameplay programmer in the Sony London SingStar Studio working on an as of yet unannounced title. Graduating from Queen Mary's University in London back in 2006, he has has since worked with Sony and Codemasters to create five global AAA-title hits..."Everybody Dance", "DiRT3", "DiRT2", "Race Driver GRID" and "Colin McRae: DiRT". Working inside both studios has given him a wide array of expertise in game development. A small subset of which includes:

  • Project management, task breakdown, time scheduling, meeting organisation, report writing and wiki management
  • State machine development, screen and gui component design along with user input handling
  • Inception, design, creation and maintenence of valuable core technology
  • Debugging and profiling on X360/PS3/PC/PSP including remote, shader and assembly debugging
  • Implementation of third party software protection solutions (Starforce/Securom)
  • VCS branch management of game projects

To contrast his sedentary work-life, Liam enjoys weight lifting, jogging and gym. Liam also enjoys playing guitar, playing games and programming personal projects.
